A History of Queen City Productions

Queen City Productions began in December of 2009 with their first ever performance in their cabaret series, "A Little Bit of Broadway." Other titles in their, "A Little Bit of Broadway," series included "Classic Composers," "Broadway Through Time," "Broadway in Love," Broadway is Life," and coming in Spring of 2021, "Broadway is Change."

They have also produced an original production called, "If You Can Dream," and work-shopped an original production called, "The Last Prince."

One thing they pride themselves on is being a teaching theater company as well. Some of their past jr shows include; Beauty and the Beast, Annie, The Little Mermaid, Once on this Island, The Jungle Book, Mulan and jr. cast productions of Clue and Spelling Bee.

Their past productions include; The Wizard of Oz, Seussical, Footloose, Clue, Tarzan, Into the Woods, Shrek, Beauty and the Beast, Once on this Island, Spelling Bee, Oliver, Spring Awakening, Titanic: The Musical, Rock of Ages, Sweeney Todd, The Addams Family Musical... and the regional premieres of The Little Mermaid Jr. and The Hunchback of Notre Dame.

Queen City Productions is proud to offer something a little different, in sometimes presenting shows with gender-reversed casting, double casting, original scripts, and cabaret-style performances.  Whatever your theatrical tastes, they know you will find yours at one of their many quality productions!
